Pre-valentine's day celebration today ;) Met ♥ in the afternoon as he was busy in the morning.

Chinatown for SNAP (self-portrait studio)! ♥ wanted to give it a try after seeing a friend posting their photos on Facebook. So he booked it; and we had a 1hour session.

Ok, basically, you need to be very creative and fun. If not you will run out of ideas like what pose to pose, what props to use very fast.

Apparently, ♥ and I weren't creative enough. HAHA... I actually got bored of it after ~30mins?? Still, it was time well spent with ♥.

Train-ed to City Hall after that and cab-ed down to MBS for our sumptuous dinner!!! We eat, drink and chat for 4hours+ HEHE... broke record.

I don't know, but this is very true for me always. 16weeks of attachment ended yesterday! 16 freaking weeks!! 2 more weeks to go! Maybe for me, I won't miss work. Only colleagues and supervisor. HAHA... ...

Anyway, didn't had time to update on CNY!! But I kept uploading photos onto FB ;) It's my first CNY:

(1) Having ♥ with me on visiting!

(2) Baking pineapple tarts and egg tarts for my family!!

Both received positive feedback! Though the kids preferred the egg tarts ;)) They were my biggest supporters that day!! Anyway, I had an awesome CNY this year.

Ok, a few days back I went to ♥'s house for dinner. He then showed me this childhood photos. Then I realised, he was handsome from young! Seriously~!! Cute max too!

BAKE!- Almond cookies and Pineapple Tarts

As Chinese New Year (CNY) draws near, a lot would be trying to make their own festive cookies! Including me this year! ;) Not so much of saving $$, but to have fun and to get that sense of satisfactory when people eat it and love it!!

First time I packed my products so nicely!

Tried my first almond cookie recipe with ♥ and it turned out awesome! Butter replaced with corn oil to make sure that the butter doesn't overwhelm the almond taste maybe (??)I had a bad experience with pandan essence, so when the recipe asked for almond essence, I used vanilla essence instead!!!
And also, I find the cookie taste better after being kept for a day. HAHA... Don't know why.

As for the pineapple tart! I think it's my second recipe? This time I'm able to shape my dough! Unlike the previous recipe ;/ According to loved ones, tarts this time round tasted better! Previous recipe too sweet- especially with Phoon Huat's pineapple paste, even sweeter! ♥ suggested that I use Bake King's; maybe I should try it before I have my "mass-production" of pineapple tarts for CNY!!!!! Ok, I'm really super excited.

Yup yup, not forgetting Egg tarts for eve of CNY! Busy Saturday this coming week!

Most people would be updating about their resolutions for the brand new year. I'm not gonna do that! (since I know I won't be even trying a single tiny bit to fulfill it) HAHA! How many do actually? 值得研究.

Had my classic celebration with Polymates, though this year is rather pathetic with only eight people. SOME would rather have their "二人世界" than to celebrate with their "going-to-three-years" Polymates. HAHA... (trying to make them sound like a badie)

BUT... this also shows that 2011 had been a fulfilling one for that SOME of them ;) They found someone they love! *awesomeness*

Of course, ♥ and I had our "二人世界" too before meeting up with the rest! We wanted to celebrate our 1year anniversary too!! (That's the good and bad thing about having your anniversary on the 30th) Toured Old Ford Factory, Discovery Centre and Army Museum ;) We decided to tour museums as this was how we started off as a couple!!! I always find this fact amazing/amusing/special. How many couples tour museums together?? (I'm making myself sound like I'm a knowledgeable girl ^.^)

Anyway, we end up walking Jurong Point for about 2hours (?) before heading to Tiong Bahru to meet the rest for our Blue Garden Korean BBQ session!!!

I'm super super super super super disappointed that I chose the place for our gathering of the year. They do not have a large variety of meat (however, I can't deny their marinated meat was nice) like some websites claimed. Veggies only kimchi, lettuce, carrots, corn and cucumber?? Seafood only prawn =.= (wow, what a variety) ya, and they got free flow of cold/hot water. (wow??)

And it cost us about $29.60 each. Ok, I would rather pay more for Sakura/Seoul Garden buffet =.= or pay less with even hell lot more food at House of Steamboat.

Got on the MRT and headed for YONGHAN's house straight after the meal!! I just love this house. I don't know why. You get a wonderful view of the fireworks at Marina Bay. This year's firework was better than last year. (I think?) Mostly importantly, ♥ was with me this time!!!

I'm surprised myself that we didn't take any photos.

HAHA! So don't bother to scroll down anymore~

I got home around 10+ and slept at 11+; woke up at 6+ and online from 7+ HAHAHAHAHHAHA... ... Should I stay home or out tomorrow?? Still having a hard time deciding.

It's surprising &a relief that 2011 has pass this fast. (or is it just my hallucination?)Christmas in 3days time; New Year in 10days time. Followed by a super early Chinese New year and FINALLY, end of my attachment in mid-Feb. (ok, it's a bit far, but I can't wait)

Went to the doctor today for my skin condition ;/ stupid doctor, made me repeat my whole eczema story. In the end, he asked me: "so, you are only here from the cream?"

And yup, I was like WTH, I told you so from the moment I sat down and I think I said for a few times.

Haven't been free to update lately! Super busy and tired!! So tired that I just want to sleep everyday at 9pm.

Attachment is "crazy"!! Unlike CPTC, I'm having the same routine every single working day! However, one good thing is that I'm only expected to work 8.30am - 5.30pm! No more mugging at home. I'm like a "free bee" everyday after work. But only for that few hours before I start to feel tired and want to sleep :)

I'm learning new stuffs during attachment; totally new stuffs and I'm glad about that. It's actually what I wanted initially after O levels, just that I couldn't get in and ended up in engineering course instead.

It's already Week6 anyway. 14 more to go :))

Anyway, I got my iPhone4s!!! Firstly, the battery life is still a bit screwed up even after the update~ depletes fast if you don't off your 3G!! And I realised it can't be kept in warm places for too long- battery will deplete fast too!

I bought a battery casing which can only charged up to about 70% of my iPhone4s :( Not what I wanted actually. I wanted a charger that can charge fully. I mean, what's the point of charging when it doesn't charge fully??

Ok, getting iPhone also means getting it's phone cover! Bumpers! Screen protectors! and whatever... ... Whole lot of accessories.

Till now I got myself 2 covers!! No plastic ones for me though. Phobia. HAHHA... ... Sad thing is most of the time, they design pretty stuffs on plastic covers ZzZzzz...

I'm in ♥ with my cousin's wedding last Saturday @ Shangri La's Rasa Sentosa Resort! It's the most most most awesome wedding I've ever attend!! (Ok, I haven't been to weddings since primary school I think; my last was Oct 1st @ XXX Hotel)
By the way, there's really a significant difference between the two weddings :) HUGE one.

I ♥ their dessert!! Totally indulged. In between the lunch the couple popped a champagne, tried to fake a cake cutting ceremony (the cake is made of Styrofoam! HAHA) and had a speech.
Their speech, super cute and funny. I can feel their joy. Lots and lots of them :))

After the lunch we went up to the hotel room. Now you know why it's lavish? First: it's at Sentosa, second: it's at Shangri La's resort, third: they had about 60tables of guest, so there's wedding lunch and dinner, fourth: they booked 3 rooms for us to stay a night, fifth: their solemnization ceremony is by the beach with 4 courses.

They finally got married after 2873days!! (It was stated in the video they screened during lunch and dinner)

Both sides swear to take care of one another till death, sign the certificates, exchange rings and there you go, lawfully married :) Just that few minutes and a whole new beginning for them.

3rd week into attachment; 15 more weeks to go :) I don't know, but I feel like schooling. Yup, back to NYP with lessons in lecture halls, tutorials in room &&talking craps with the guys. Humans, HAHA... Give you "A", you want "B"; give you "B", you think of "A".
I'm quite neutral with attachment I would say. But I'm really learning lots of new techniques/skills. (Though most are irrelevant)

Hmms, went to MacRitchie reservoir a few days back with ♥!!! They "renovated" the place and it looked soooo different from the last time I've been there. (Which was like 4-5years ago during cross-country?)

Ok, my current phone is now operating at a super ultra snail speed; and I'm super duper ultra impatient :X

I can type like a 3-4 letter word and it took the word to spell out completely only after I stopped typing for 5secs. @$%%^&**#$$* This is super freaking bad; makes me feel like I'm a 100 yrs old woman, trying to use a smartphone.

Just now I pressed the backspace button for 10times? And it doesn't delete. It just 'hanged' there.

So now I'm used to leave my phone at one corner. (That's why I don't reply most SMS people sent; by the time I saw it, it's like after 5-6hrs)

ANYWAY, I really need to rant this out. It's really getting on my nerves!! What's the point if you design a 8GB internal memory and after using <6GB, it starts to lag?? I didn't even insert a external memory card. And my phone memory is less than 1/4 occupied. *tsk tsk*

I'm sorry, maybe it's seems like a stupid update to you. But I'm feeling so much better. Good night people.

I know, I always say I won't be making cheesecakes (I'm not a cheese lover). However, I realised that a lot around me like cheesecakes!! In fact, they ♥ it!!! So decided to give it a try last Sunday; reviews from people were good. Though I think I need to work harder on presenting my "products"!

Cheesecakes in a mess now, after I attempt to cut it into pieces. HEHE... I think I should just use muffin trays next time! Or maybe I should freeze it a bit longer... ...

2nd week into CPTC:
still surviving ~~well~~

I don't know, but school seems so much better than training sometimes. Having to say that, it's already the 2nd week and the 3rd one starting in less than 30hrs. I can get through this. We all can.

Accompanied ♥ to Drs Bain and Partners @ Raffles City for his attachment medical checkup. I'm proud of him- being attached to Exxonmobil! He deserves it I would say :)

As for me, I mentioned I accompanied! (meaning I wasn't on their list) A little disappointed, to be honest. Who don't want to be attached to a reputable company?? Imagine when your relatives/friends ask: "where are you attached to?"

1st week into CPTC @ Jurong Island...
... &I'm ~~loving~~ it.

Attend lectures (like in NYP); just that much more boring ones. Most of the topics were repetition of past semesters.

They got a really pathetic canteen too. Only one stall selling Malay food~ (with hundreds of students)

I think I can't complain about waking up early everyday. (since I'm one of those who stay near Jurong East) But still, 0500 hr is early for a person like me who sleeps at 0000 hr~

I like their tutorials and practical though :) Had an amazing view from the top of the platform today during line tracing!! Too bad photo-taking isn't allowed on the island. I'm very looking forward to my night shift; so I can enjoy the night scenery :)

ANYWAY, I MISS BAKING! CPTC seems soooooooo~~~~~ much busier than school! I can't find time to bake during weekdays!! So, I'm going to do that tomorrow! Pandan Chiffon Cake and maybe, marble cheesecake.

Yes yes, my 5th Semestral Exams in NYP have finally come to an end :) All those late nights and early mornings had been giving me headaches. Something I never had before during exams.

They always say: "the end of something, is the start of something new" How true. They "took away" our only pathetic holiday tomorrow for a pre-CPTC briefing. (how sad can my life get)Best part, it's right in the middle of the day. (TOTAL SPOILER)To comfort myself, I still got my weekends. To be spent with my wonderful G1 mates :) Last gathering before CPTC (&attachment)!! I want to BBQ!!! I'm actually thinking of bringing my own tongs so I can BBQ without people snatching the job from me. HEHE... ...

Alright, these few days really is *speechless* Luckily, I got my ♥ with me. He came over for every single paper; just to have lunch with me :))

BAKE!- Egg Tarts, Oreo coffee cake and Kueh Bangkit

I ♥ baking! It's magical to see how simple, basic ingredients like butter, sugar, eggs and flour can combine and become tarts, pies, cookies, cakes and muffins. ♥ ♥ ♥

The sense of achievement when you see the batter rise ( &cook when you poke the toothpick inside and it come out clean), people eating it and most importantly, getting assurance from your loved ones :)

Baking nowadays had been an act of procrastination; a de-stressing hobby-- For me. I'm baking so often when I should be mugging for my final Semestral Exams.

What's makes me ♥ even more about baking is the wonderful photos by SereneGOH!! She can take flawless photos of my baking(s)-- when it isn't.

Egg tarts! I was looking for change in my baking "style". Since I had tried cookies, brownies for umpteen times, I decided to try tarts instead. Thankfully, it came out alright :D

Bake this a few days back though.

As for today, ♥ and I tried this Oreo and Coffee cake! This inside was nicely done. But the bottom was burnt!! The taste wasn't up to our expectations too :(
Wasn't very confident about this Kueh Bangkit !Especially after frying the tapioca flour in the wok and finding it decreasing in volume greatly. (the table top was filled with flour)We estimated every other ingredients into the batter. (since we can't really follow the recipe with A LOT less flour)End up, it was soooo much better than what we expect.

Yea, what we expected to turn out great didn't. What we didn't expect to turn out edible, was nice. HAHA... Always expect the unexpected I guess :)

Hmms, now I'm already thinking what to bake next. Maybe double chocolate muffins?? White chocolate batter topped with milk chocolate batter! Topped with a juicy, red strawberry. Yum yum.

Chocolate ganache brownie! First attempt!! First time trying ganache (cream) on top! Just that before those chocolate got enough time to freeze and settle, I already cut out a piece for DAD.

Yea, and it sort of mess up my cream abit.

As you can see, from those photos, alot of cream still sticking on the baking paper!! I think I wasted quite abit of cream... ... Fed the rubbish bin!

Hmms, MUMMY wants coffee cake. So I think my next recipe will be something to do with coffee :)) Had been finding substitution for chocolate for quite sometime!!

However, having to bake a few times, I realised chocolate is the easiest to "work with". Unlike lemon/fruits. Especially lemons!!

Sometimes it's neither too sour nor too sweet. (Hehe; I got one particular lemon bars recipe which I always fail)

Ended Common Test with PO&O paper today!! Glad to say I'm happy with whatever I wrote on the paper *shys* (Ok, maybe I shouldn't be over confident)

I'm so bored now; especially with FB games not loading at all~ Every single game somemore :(

Anyway, went to Jurong Island (J.I) to make our pass today!! I hate the photo on the card to the max. So I'm not going to upload photo on that. Come to think of that, I'm never satisfied with any photo on my ez-link cards/NRIC/Passport. Now the pass too...
Supposed to go home and sleep but ♥ and I ended up in Jurong Point for super early dinner!! Yea, and now I'm feeling hungry. *shag*

donkey number of rental shops there! some rental go as low as $2/day! Yes, all of the rental go by per day, not per hour!

Random housing in the middle of nowhere~ There's a sign reading: Cold drinks sold here. LoL. But I didn't see anyone there.

We went up a tower! Got our first and only group photo taken on top! Great view :)

One cute thing about the tower: Maximum load = 20 people (FYI, no such word as persons)

We planned to walk a boardwalk (which supposed to be short and lead us back to our bicycles) but we ended up on a bridge which was freaking long

AND... RinaYO decided to sit down

So sweet right?! I told SIS to help them take photos. And ya, she's already "stalking" them way before I told her to

We cycled somewhere and ended up in a opened space with this lake? Pond?

The "best" thing about our trip was that we actually cycled on rough (filled with stones/pebbles and sand) route instead of the bicycle track (which is a nice smooth pavement) =.=
Rough route -> bumpy rides -> headache
&&we dismount a few times to push our bicycles up the slopes... ...

Pulau Ubin was fun :) But I'm going for the pavement next time. HAHA... ...

So sad, now that I'm done updating, I'm left with nothing to do again. But ♥ is prompting me to draw PIKACHU!!! I can't believe I actually drew 4 PIKACHU(s) =.=

Anyway, I'm finally having my first paper later this afternoon! Followed by another morning paper tomorrow~ After that I will be free for a week or so before Semestral papers come by one by one!!!
My brain is like overloaded with theory this Semester. All words. I hope I don't mix up stuffs :X
Imagine writing about flooding when the question ask me about MBR's disadvantage. ZzZzz... ...

Had my very last lecture, tutorial and lab today! It's been 2years 3mths++; finally my Polytechnic life's coming to an end. Not mentioning I actually still got a 6weeks CPTC training followed by approx. 6months attachment!!
No more:
-Walking/slacking around NYP
-Eating in tutorial rooms and changing from one to one when there's class
-Monopoly deals during lunch breaks
-Scanning my student card for access into Blk Q
-Taking tests/exams in the 'not-so-comfortable' chair @ LTR(s)
-Semestral Examinations in the sports hall
-Using the toilets @ all levels
-Mugging with all my classmates in the library discussion room
-Queueing up @ the printing shop to get my slides/notes printed and tolerating the sucky attitude of those printshop aunties
-Doodling on ElaineLIM's textbooks!!!!!
-Walking up those 'always-break-down' escalators
-Lectures in LTQ/LTR, Tutorials in Blk P/Q and Lab sessions in Blk Q
etc etc... ...
I'm sure I will get to see my lectures, PEM again!!! But might be all the way on graduation day.

Having to say all these, it's not yet the end of my Polytechnic life. Since I still got one more Semester to go. Just that I won't be spending it in NYP! Hope attachment turns out well :) And I'm really looking forward.

Had a short day in school today :) Morning had a "email" written test though. For communication skills.
I re-wrote my first paragraph once. And stared at the question paper for some time thinking what the programme name should be.
End up with some lame name. [Fab Foods, Fab life]. That's my creativity limit. HAHA... ... Anyway, in the end, I almost can't finish the test -.- Was still trying to complete my sign off part when Mrs Mun said "Pens down".
I'm lucky she didn't collect the papers herself. Managed to steal some time to wrap up my email. Though I'm "bursting" with contents to write.

1hour IS&LP lecture and off to AMK for [Captain America]. Not super awesome; I prefer Iron Man!!!
Managed to spend some quality time with ♥ ! Late celebration for our monthly-ver-sary :))

WOO.
Mug-ed like hell last night; and yea, finally petrochemical test is over, smoothly. No more tests before Common Tests on 10 Aug and 11 Aug!! It won't be easy, these few weeks. But at least I won't be that busy staying up late to do last minute studying...

Anyway, sort of like abit "high" today. Even though I went through some disappointments earlier in the day. Oh well. And ya, I'm going to show you what happens when you attend a lecture and the whole class doesn't have any notes/slides on what the lecturer is presenting:

Hmms, I'm still up (like most of my mates) doing our IS&LP Emergency Response Plan.

It's a freaking tedious report, EVER I tell you. Firstly, worst of all, the whole report is supposed to be handwritten. Secondly, we are like given 59 guide questions that are supposed to help us write the report. HOWEVER, all these questions can be answered like so widely. In other words, the answers to the questions are damn long. Making it worst is that they somehow link to even more stuffs to write.

Short getaway with SIS!
I'm not a very "stay-at-home" type of girl; was desperately wanting to go out and take a walk. And yup, I found someone as desperate~

yea, we ended up in Orchard; meeting up with BRO after his work before going home
And I finally found out what type of cookies DAD likes! You see, he's always give me the same comment when he try my baking.
"you must beat the egg and sugar to 2times it's original volume! like that then nice."
I don't know, but this sounds like it's for baking cakes rather than cookies. Whatever it is, I tried a new recipe this morning and he loves it!! (Like finally)
And you know what's the recipe? It's titled [Almost rock buns] I can tell you, the texture is not at all like a cookie. It's abit crispy on the outside, and totally soft &fluffy in the inside. Tell me, when did you ever ate a cookie and it's soft in the inside -.- If Famous Amos was like this, I doubt it would be this famous... ...

BUT
come to think of that, DAD and ♥ got the same tastebuds. They both like this type of "not-so-like-a-cookie" cookie. (If you get what I mean)

lost and found

My not so appealing brownies made this evening when I got home from school!! JaslynLAU passed me the "baking frenzy"... ...

It wasn't this small at first. This is after I cut :)
MUMMY was still complaining about some weeks ago that I haven't been baking ever since many monkey months. (This is another reason why I baked 2 consecutive days already)
You know, this kind of "urge" just comes in suddenly; and "die-out" after some time. I still remember when MUMMY finally bought me an oven (previously I was baking with a toaster) and a hand-mixer I was soooooo excited!! I wanted to bake immediately. But it was late at night, so I didn't.
At that time too, I haven't got any recipes OR weighing scale OR moulds OR grease paper OR ingredients. So obviously, without ingredients, I can't really bake with only an oven and a hand-mixer.

Later that night I was "glued" to my laptop, searching for recipes; trying to start with the basics. My first attempt was cookies. Raisins cookies. Came out alright, edible!! Confident, I tried to do something else. Muffins, cakes and more types of cookies! Till now, my muffins still fail. Cakes I tried once, Swiss Roll! I substituted cream with honey; and I sandwiched raisins inside. (Yes, I love to put raisins)
Not long after, ♥ sponsored me a bag of cranberries!! Yea, you guessed it. I replaced raisins with cranberries!! I still remembered there's once I mixed both together! Raisins's taste dominated though.

After a period of I don't know how long, I stopped. I think it's exams period followed by holidays when I worked!! No more time for baking then! (Might be due to pure laziness too)
Whatever it is, in between I do bake small batches of cookies. All recipes were from different source!! And as I "attained" more experience, I tend to add/reduce ingredients according to my intuition!!! Sometimes I get it right, sometimes I fail :( but no matter what, it was still edible and ♥ never fails to eat finish every single piece I give him.
Yup, and it's still the same now.

On Tuesday, ♥ came over and I suggested baking! We baked shortbreads (don't know why the name, but it taste just like cookies)
Eggless shortbread! The first batch was with chopped almonds. Totally weird taste. I don't know why, but it got a taste of ginger.
The second batch was with raisins! So much better.
As for today, I tried brownies and they are currently in my fridge now. Undergoing chilling process. Shall bring some to school tomorrow. See some response :))

Hmm, I didn't know I could be typing so much on baking! Looking forward to Harry Potter and the deathly hallows part 2 with my girls after school!!

Relax~ Relaxation Part 2

Day Two of our tour: Universal Studios Singapore (USS)!
We woke up quite early, prepared for the crowds. But it was way~~~ too much -.-

One very very important point you all must [x10000] is that: DO NOT visit USS during school holidays/weekends/public holidays. Complete disaster :( It's really damn packed. Heard from ♥ that they actually limit the amount of visitors. (But it doesn't really help)
Before going out:

Ok, the iconic Universal Studios's (US) 'ball'!! HAHA... Or whatever you call. Everyone takes photo of that :)

Our first stop: Hollywood-
It's really shopping and more shopping. All the USS merchandise! t-shirts, pants, hoodies, hats, towels, sunglasses, umbrellas, keychains, magnets, notebooks, mugs, stationeries, toys, bags etc etc.
They earn your $$ like crazy. HAHA... ...

Madagascar-
We didn't had our first ride from here. But those penguins I tell you were damn [x10000] cute!

Far Far Away-
Our first ride of the day: Enchanted airways. Just like Genting Highland's Dragon ride. But abit more exciting due to it's seats which are 'open'
After that we went for Shrek 4D adventure. Totally awesome I tell you. I really love all these 4D rides I had in Sentosa and USS!!!

Yea, other than those big shops, they got all these small pushcarts to earn your $$ too!!!

Shrek 4D Adventure. From the outside, you see zero people in the queue. But the moment we got in... ...
When we came out of the Shrek 4D Adventure, there's another ride, Magic Potion Spin. A small indoor ferris wheel. We didn't ride that...

We wanted to have our lunch @ Discovery Food Center (photo), but it was too packed! Not much variety too... So we went on to

I tell you, Galactica isn't simple at all. The moment I see it I was like WTF; the tracks are like all 'over the place'. The ride is damn damn damn huge and long -.-
Yea, we didn't ride it. You see, I can't even capture the whole ride in one photo!!!
We ride the Accelerator. You know, the one that just goes round and round in high speed.

New York-
Lights, Camera, Action: A show on movie effects. Hurricans, fires, explosions etc etc. Alot of surprises. Super nice!!!

We then went back to Ancient Egypt for Treasure Hunters! To be plain, it's a jeep ride.

After the ride we went for a show @ The lost world! Waterworld by Singtel. Seriously, I don't know why Singtel is doing this :)

And of course, given the weather of the day and the crowd, we slacked at the Oasis Spice Cafe for like an hour? Did nothing but just sat there enjoying our orange juice.

We left the park late evening around 6pm I guess? Did some shopping at Hollywood before exiting the park :) I bought a pen &photoframe for SIS, a shirt for MUM and a shirt, notebook for myself!!

Later at night we had Soup Spoon from Vivocity for dinner!

Yup, and that's our second day! Didn't ride much rides from USS if you realise. Long queues really. And the weather was sickening. However, they got awesome exhibitions and shows to cater for those who doesn't like exciting rides (like me)!
Worth a visit :) If you are visiting USS before 31July, I can get tickets @ $57!!

The start of our 3days 2nights Sentosa and Universal Studios Singapore (USS)!Started with KFC breakfast!! Blueberry pancakes (and egg) and chicken porridge. Mac's pancakes got better texture. The porridge was nice.

Bought our Day Pass @ Vivocity.

Reached Coasta Sands Resort Sentosa(CSRS) around 10am+ to deposit our steamboat!! (Yea, I brought a steamboat).

Started our tour with Fort Siloso (2/5) exhibition:

On our way to decide what's for lunch, we saw this cute &brave little kid outside Underwater World taking photo with a large yellow white snake.

We ended up in Shangri La's Rasa Sentosa Resort. The 8 Noodles (5/5) restaurant. I had herbed fish udon while ♥ had their dry wonton noodles!

After lunch was more walking @ Butterfly Park and Insect Kingdom (2/5):

Yea, from his annual 3 days 2 nights SCL camp!

Despite his "lethargic-ness", he accompanied me to the movies for [Green Lantern] @ Lot1. Not mentioning all those smelly clothes and laptop in his big black log bag.

He's a sweetie I know; and I should appreciate that.

Anyway, ♥ finally had his basic theory test today! Best of all is that he passed it at his first attempt!! Smart boy. (Though he looked really blur when I met him)

I got my I.E 9!! (Yes, I just installed it yesterday~)

HAHA. You must be thinking: 'freak, I got it like don't know how many (insert animal) years ago'
Oh well. I admit, I'm slow :( Had been "hooking-up" with GoogleChrome lately. I find it connecting to my "lao-pok-gai" wireless faster :) Or maybe there's just too too too too too many Singaporeans using Singtel as their service provider. Sometimes the wireless connection gets really screwed up (and I get really really **** up) till I'm suggesting to my parents to change to Starhub~

搞不懂，为什么这么多人喜欢电子与电脑展。超多人的！！到处人山人海，密密麻麻的 -。- 人挤人。最讨厌的是有些人喜欢停在路中央，以为路是他的。哎哟。。。真是的。

你们一定在想，既然我这么讨厌，为什么还要去对吧？？

一，因为妈妈要去找哥哥。

二，昨天在家一天快疯了，所以打算出门走走。

结果，我果然从新达城新加坡国际会议展览中心 (Suntec convention centre) 走到滨海广场(Marina Square Shopping Centre) 再“走”到怡丰城 (Vivocity) 。（其实是爸爸载的。哈哈！）

在等待爸爸的“到来”，我们在滨海广场外逛了由 8days 主办的 ‘Celebrity's Car boot’。有一位阿姨既然还请我帮她拍照。拍什么？

拍她和范文芳和李明顺。。。。。。的车和买的东西 -。- 她一直说：“因为他们穿过的！” 好可爱也好疯狂哦！

就在我们要离开的时候，看见白薇秀！她真人好漂亮！！也好好好瘦。。。

爸爸把我们载到怡丰城便回家了！妈妈，妹妹和我吃完晚餐后，走了一会儿，就打算回家了！！

回家的途中，偶然的，听了周杰伦的歌；新歌，旧歌都有。就因为这样，突然有一股冲动要把他所有的歌放进MP3！！哈哈。可是我能保证，不用三天，我就不听了。哈哈哈！

好啦，就这样吧！（其实有一些照片，懒得上载）我应该上床睡觉了。明天还要早起和 ♥ 约会！再见咯！晚安！

Ok, ever since SIS bought a camera, we had been cam-whoring alot. (And I'm counting by hundreds)
It's like an addiction already! ♥ ♥

And sometimes, BRO joins in too!!

It's such a random post I know. I still got like hundreds of photos taken with SIS not yet uploaded!!! Printed out a few though; maybe I should get an album :)

Anyway, holidays/study break is kicking in soon! Though it's a study break, I doubt I will study much given my laziness. (I always preferred the method of: "last-minute") HAHAHA...
However, this week before the break is like super busy. All the projects&& reports due! I shall survive through like the past four semesters!!! Good night folks!

Tanjong Pagar Railway Station visit with MUMMY, MUM's SIS, SIS& BRO :)

Of course, we didn't really travel all the way down early in the morning 6am just to take a look at the station before it's demolished. (1 July)

Yup, we took the train to JB! The whole trip took around an hour. And the hour was like spent travelling from Keppel Road to Woodlands Checkpoint. (WTH)

FYI, the train looks fast when you see it. But actually, it doesn't really go that fast. HAHA... ... Enjoyable ride. Although I did nothing inside except cam-whoring with SIS! And ya, that's exactly why we didn't take any photos @ City Square Mall (JB). Camera battery low~ I did use my phone though. Just lazy to upload!!

The shopping centre is a really nice place to shop! Especially if you enjoy Bugis Street that kind of shopping!! Just that it's like so much bigger and cooler at the mall! There's a Factory Outlet Store there too!

In the end, I bought 2shirts and a backpack for ♥ ! Surprisingly, nothing for myself!!! And it's really nothing. I don't know why.

Home sweet home around 6pm? Wonderful trip :)) But of course, another "no-revision-done-day" (ZzZZzzz DOTS)

So many stuffs to do these days. Projects, presentations and reports are coming in one by one. Worst still, I'm working on weekends. (Something I never agreed on last time because I find it rather distracting to work and school)
However, I've got no choice. This was one of the condition that time when I joined the company. Just hope I'm able to keep up and for this schedule to end ASAP!! Going to stop work after this schedule :)

Anyway, since I'm working, I tend to spend more. Bought 2tops and a skirt @ JP that day with MUMMY, SIS and BRO. MUMMY got SIS and I a watch too. $10 cheapo watch which is perfect for us! Because we only need it for timings and nothing else.
After that whole afternoon @ JP, DADDY picked us up and finally we had dinner together! Yes, finally the 5 of us :)) I missed those times when we had dinner outside every single weekends.

Alright, some random issues for these days:
01) Date with ♥ tomorrow!
02) So looking forward to USS outing with mates! And of course, ours(♥ and mine) June holiday plans!!!

Planned a 4th month celebration. (Yea, it's my turn)

Woke up @ 6am to have my wholesome breakfast before going down to NTUC for some groceries shopping!
I reached there 7.15am+ and it was quite empty. Maybe they shouldn't claim that they open at 7am then? So basically it was a wasted trip.
Went home did some baking before going down to NTUC once more :)

Met ♥ and cab-ed down to Marina Barrage. The venue and meal were supposed to be a surprise. But the venue was like exposed when we went on the cab. The meal was a success though!

We did tons and tons of walking that day. Really. Imagine leaving Marina Barrage at 1.30pm till 5.30pm! Settled our dinner @ MBS Foodcourt. They got nice food!

01) Worked on Good Friday

02) Cut(ed) "bangs" (since everyone says I have "bangs" when I don't)

03) Trim(ed) my ends (currently my hair ends look so much healthier but I'm so sad as my hair is now a few inches shorter?)

04) Walked Clementi Mall again- yes, 2nd time this week. This time with MUMMY. Bought 1dress and 1top from KateLove. Their prices are v reasonable :) Tried to look for tees in denizen but failed to find something suitable :( However, MUMMY bought me a belt! Finally I got a belt that can tighten and fits -.-
The Box got really nice clothings too!! But abit more expensive!!! I need to control my spending as ♥ and I got something planned for June holidays. And ya, sad to say, it requires lots of "ka-ching"($$)
Ok, MUMMY and I managed to spend a whole afternoon @ Clementi Mall!! (Which wasn't v big) And guess the shop we spent the most time at??

Work days

Finally it's the end of the semestral break :)
Last day of work today and I can say: work was great.
With wonderful colleagues and manager; how bad can my work days be? I'm really surprised by how strong their endurance can be. No matter how much work (or busy) they got on their hands, they are still willing to help you out without giving you face :)
They are really really v v v v v patient people.

Those who work will know that we got like a dozen different kinds of people out there in Singapore. Like for me, during work, I experienced:

01) The really quiet ones
Walks to the counter, bring out their card, put it on the table. Check the price, pay you. Get their change and walk off. Not a single word/reply from them.
Actually getting this type of customer can be both good and bad.

02) Questions loaded ones
Most common question- "this one got discount?" "that one how much ah?" "can use this to pay and get discount still or not?" "use these cards got cashback? cannot use credit ones?"
Yea, all of the questions revolve around $$.

03) 5-stars ones Meaning they are "top-graded" type of customer. They will smile at you before approaching your counter. Put down their stuffs/help you unpack from the basket. When you take something from them (their card for example), they say thank you. When you return them their card, another thank you. When you pass them their stuffs, yes, another thank you. Before they leave, they say byebye.
Today I even met a woman who said: "thank you my dear, have a nice day"
You know, all these simple thank you(s) and smile(s) really brighten my mood for that particular moment.Especially during a busy busy busy day!! To be honest, if I get this type of customer, I will triple check their receipt (to make sure I didn't key wrongly), give them extra smile(s) and thank you(s) too!!!

04) Quiet but bother-to-respond ones
Smiliar to the quiet ones, just that when you smile at them, they bother to smile back. Or give a nod.
At least I know they heard me?

05) Quick ones Most of them only got like one or two stuffs, they walk to your counter, put down their stuff. On their hands are their money and card ready. One common thing they will say will be: "don't need plastic bag" "I don't need the receipt" (Unfortunately, the WILL be printed no matter what) Just when I turn my head down to put the money in the drawer and look up to pass them the receipt, they are gone already.

06) Slow ones
Of course, with the really quick ones, you will get those really slow ones too. They will stand at your counter, and start searching their bags for their cards/coins. From the bag, they take out a pouch. Don't have.
Then search the bag again for another wallet. Don't have. Then search the whole bag before they finally found the card. And of course, by the time the queue starts to get really long... ...

07) Bad-attitude ones With the queue getting long, you will surely get some grumpy customers who start to complain how slow the process of payment is. Some just cast a comment. Some really really nag.
Sometimes I really feel like telling straight in their face that they are not the only people feeling frustrated. They think we are v happy standing there for hours scanning their cards and collecting money non-stop (although collecting money sounds like a great thing)?
We are humans too. Only got 2 hands and 1 brain. We got a responsibility to balance out our sales at the end of the day. And you know how mentally stressing it can be?? Therefore, of course we need to be extra careful. I admit, being extra careful, we slow down. But is it really our fault all the time?? Why not you get your money/cards really before it's your turn to make payment since you had been queueing for so long.
AND... standing for so long doing the same action for straight hours, our mood won't be fabulous too. Still, we try to smile, stay friendly. But some of them just come nagging and nagging. Please, put yourself in our shoe and think.

07b) Bad-attitude ones There's levels of bad attitudes ones. Some just like to throw their stuff on the table instead of passing them to you.
How will you feel if I threw your change on the table?

07c) Bad-attitude + love to complain ones This type is the worst of all. Like I was complaining to ♥ today after work. This auntie's husband came to make a payment. And after the payment, his son suddenly popped out with a book. Since I already made the transaction, I had to make another.
So ya, it's my fault for not asking for the member card on the second transaction, so the auntie came back to demand for the discount. (Ya, for a "HUGE" sum of $1.25)
Then she was like: "why you never give discount" (then I said I wasn't given the card)then she was like: "my husband say the card with you" (ya right, we are trained to give the card back right after we scan it.) Then of course she continued: "how can it be he got the card on the first transaction and not the next? so funny lo" (she was loud, and you must see her face, like the discount was $1250)
After that HOD was called to make a refund. Then the auntie, yet another complain: "so now I need to wait lah?!" (yea, please, do you see a teleport machine beside me? As if the HOD can teleport beside me right after I call her.)
Of course, that's not the end. She ended with: "she never been a cashier before is it?" (HAHA, sad to say, YES, I'VE NEVER BEEN A CASHIER BEFORE! It's my first time; and I'm here less than a month)
Some people just like to complain yea?? I know it's my fault, but please, watch your attitude, you can always ask in a proper manner. Call yourself an adult

Alright, that's it. Basically, I just want to do some rantings. It's pretty obvious I know. It's just doesn't make sense to me sometimes. If you want people to treat you right, treat them right too.
After working this semester, I realise I tend to say thank you more. Especially to the cashiers. HAHA... ...

Whatever it is, it's the end of working days and hello books/lectures/labs/tutorials!
And I must thank ♥ for giving mental support every single work days!! Sorry for spending so little time with you.

Didn't plan to wake up early. But MUMMY was like walking around the room, all dressed and packed -.- So I got no choice but to wake up and had breakfast with her @ Coffee Terrance! Love their breakfast. HAHA... ...
After that did abit of last minute shopping back @ First World Plaza before meeting up with the rest for hotel check-outs. Board the bus and headed back :)

So that's how we spent our 3days @ Genting Highlands! Although most of us went to Genting alot of times, it's somehow feels different when we go with different people. Like for me, I went 2times with my family, 1time with my colleagues and boss and 1time with my mates. And I realise, when you go with different people, you worry and love different stuffs.
For example, when you go with your parents, you don't need to worry about money. They will surely have all planned out to make sure it's enough! And also, I realise, my hotel room is neater with MUMMY around. HAHA... ...
However, when you go with your friends, you need to becareful how much you spend, headache about what to buy back. And the good thing is, you tend to have whole lot of fun. Maybe is we tend to like the same stuffs and enjoy the same type of entertainment like Theme Park/arcade/bowling.

Breakfast buffet @ First World Cafe! Didn't know they had so many varieties until that day! (Though it's not my first time eating there) As usual, I had loads of bread and tarts :) HAHA... ... My favourite.
After breakfast, accompanied MUMMY to Resort World Hotel before meeting the rest for Theme Park! Had the same rides this year. Just that I tried the Mine trail ride. As for the space shot, gave it a miss (as usual) HAHA... ... Didn't expect to spend the whole day there though.
But we did! Of course, in between we went over to the Resort World Hotel side for Bak Ku Teh and some food shopping! Ok, given the amount of dried products we bought, it's not some food shopping... ... Some of us then went back to the hotel to put our stuffs down, before heading back to Theme Park again!!!
Met MUMMY for dinner with ♥
♥ and I then spent sometime alone on the ferris wheel and reindeer ride~~ After that got back to hotel and ♥ gave me a bday surprise with the rest of them.

Back from Genting! It's like so fast :( 3days 2nights just ended like this. My holidays too... Only left with another week or so!! 5 Apr: Some mates came over to my house on the previous night. Sorry for being a poor host. Didn't really entertained you all well. But I think you all entertained me well. HAHA... ... Anyway, nobody was late :) Slept well on the bus!! Reached there and it's already 12-1pm? Decided not to go KL on the next day but play the theme park instead. So end up, we had free-and-easy time on the very first day! Walked around. Had bowling (my skills "cui" to the max) and karaoke session before having a hotpot cum bbq buffet @ First World Plaza! Quite a vegetarian meal. All vegetables. HAHA. Surprisingly, we didn't gather when we went back to the hotel!!! Everyone went back to their own room to rest.

Did more walking around Jurong Point before heading back to CCK to meet MUMMY to buy an electric oven! (Like finally) I'm going to start my baking spree these few days when I get my off day!! Shall update more on that later.

Anyway, I'm so looking forward to the Genting trip with my mates :) Just having headache on what we should do during the stay @ my house the night before. I hope my house doesn't bored them!! Hmm, before I go, more movie reviews from me.

Quit-ed my previous job @ Harbourfront and currently working @ POPULAR CCK!

I know, it's like damn near my house! Super convenient!! >5mins walk from home!!! I also get to see familiar faces. Like today, I saw THL and her sis already. Hope to see more friends around!

Anyway, working there is mentally stressing since I'm doing cashier-ing. Especially at the end of the day, when you balance out the sales. Hope it balance out everytime I work!!! *finger crossed*

Hmm, got back S4 results too. High moderation rate! Surprised with some of my grades :) Alot did very well too.

No wonder I'm feeling less and less sleepy as the clock ticks.
Anyway, I know I'm not the only one. So ya, JIAYOU people. Exams will end this week!!! Holidays are here!!!!! Just "ta-han" a few days more :)
(Like how you did for your past 12years of your life- If you are 19 and started having exams at age of 7)

I'm trying to be rather positive about this. But I'm really so so so sick of it.
Stupid topic 3 and 4. I'm like trying to get stuffs I don't understand a tiny bit into my head. Definitely worst than pure history that time. Oh man, I miss History.

Hello people. It has been some time since I last updated. How are you?

Examinations are here. In fact, I got 1paper down; 2more to go.
Time past "freaky-ish" fast, and it's freaking me out. (?) I spent almost 2years in Polytechnic and I'm actually at the last Semester of Year2.
Just next Tues and I will be free for a month or so before proceeding on to my final year in NYP :) Looking forward since most lecturers and friends are saying S4 (currently) is the toughest of all and I can't wait for it to be over.

Browsing through the modules for S5 makes me happy; as there won't be any Engineering MATH. People who know me would know that I started failing Math since Primary4 (pathetic) . And I had been hoping to "sever ties" with it. However, I'm very unlucky. It followed me all the way until today. (Since I ended EM2A paper just this morning)
Alot had been telling me (I'm very clear myself, too), if I were to pursue my studies @ higher level, I will be dealing with it again.
For me is: till then, then say. OR chinese saying: 走一步，算一步.

Hmm, I don't know why I'm typing all these all of a sudden. Maybe I'm just trying to procrastinate. HAHA... I seriously think that my "procrastinating skills" had improved greatly these few weeks.
I should stop that. Lucky for me, I got ♥ to "push me" to study sometimes. And ya, ♥ taught me Laplace well. (AHEM, you know what to do for HMT and FPM le hor??)

Valentine's Day update; abit late isn't it?

No presents, expensive gifts or candle-light dinner; just a simple and wonderful day out with him.

I think we cycled for >30km~ (Soooooooooo fun!) Though ♥ ended up with a "burnt" nose and both our arms and legs turned red!! (till today still -.-)
After that went to Tampines Mall for [Black Swan]. And the movie taught me one thing: Perfection is sucidal. It kills a person inside out.
Anyway, a fabulous day out with ♥ I love his company :))

Coming to say, I realise we met up almost everyday! Accompanied ♥ to school to meet the supplier the very next day!! (For his camp tee!)
Didn't meet him yesterday though.

As for today, studied at RP together! Not very successful though. HAHA. We ended up watching [127hours] @ CP! This movie, it's whole lot better than [Buried]. But still, it seems like a budget movie. Maybe it's the meaning behind the movie that helped it earned 4 ticks @ the movie review.
If you are thinking [Black Swan] or [127hours], go for [Black Swan] :)

Shall get some stuffs done before bed today!!! Good nights!

Ended my last non-examinable module paper yesterday :) Feels great. TTM.
After paper went to NEX with ♥. Spent half day there! We had a movie marathon!

7pm: Just go with it- Not too bad

I'm so lazy to type.

Can you imagine how quick CNY past this year??? I haven't enjoyed enough!! Today is already 初五!!!
So what exactly did I do for the past four days of my wonderful CNY?

除夕/初一:
Went to my grandfather's house for both days. Reunion dinner. Chit-chattings and everyone's favourite CNY past time:

GAMBLING! (Which I'm totally not interested)

Since I'm not enjoying their favourite past time, all I did was watch TV. Then sometimes I will walk into the room. KPO while, then walk out out again and continue with my TV.
HAHA. Boliao I know; but I'm happy :)

初二:
Due to my 'pathetic' number of visits every year, I'm usually very free on the very second day of CNY! I will visit my godparents in the morning, then sometimes MUM's SIS after that.
This year I went to Plaza Sing. after the visit with MUM, SIS and QX (SIS's friend). Yea, MUM and I went to 'extra' only. HAHA... ...
We watched [Homecoming], which was really popular. The whole theatre was packed with people. (Even till yesterday! I saw most of the timeslot @ Vivo's was fully booked)
After the movie, took a walk to Orchard. It's like so quiet there. (Since most shops weren't open)
So so so not like Orchard :)

初三:
Another family gathering @ my uncle's house. Something very special this year. Usually we only meet like thrice in a year? (Two times during CNY and one time during 清明节) This year we will be meeting four times!
The whole group of us actually carpool-ed. (Very environmental friendly right?! I know)
Ya, and since their favourite past time is to gamble, they did it again @ uncle's house for hours. And yups, I sat there for hours again. Lucky for me, my cousin came to talk to me.

初四:
Spent the whole day with SEBAS ♥!
We went to Vivo, then while waiting for the movie, we went to walk the boardwalk! (It's a long bridge that links Vivo and Sentosa. Newly opened)
Beautiful views along the walk :) Something you won't get to enjoy if you take the monorail or the bus service!!!
I tried to take photos, but it's hard. Sun was sooooooooooo sunny.

Reached there and decided to go inside Sentosa to take a walk. We weren't inside Sentosa, sort of like along the Universal Studios and Resort World only.
Beautiful place, really.

Anyway, after the movie we went to Marina Square for Yuki Yaki!!! ♥ tried to make a heart-shape with the ice cream. But it didn't turn out to be one... ... ...

Did more walking after that @ River Hongbao!!! It's like a grand and huge pasa malam. HAHA... ... ♥ wanted to win me a soft toy @ those game booths! And he did. But it wasn't soft toys, but four mini cups.

I ♥ this photo! But the wind blew my hair and covered my face :(
So fast it had been a month :) Had an early celebration after school on Friday @ Marina Square.
Watched [The Green Hornet]; the show is abit drag-gy I would say. But overall it's alright. Jay Chou fans should go and watch~
Did abit of walking at MBS before heading home!

Next day we met up again for class hoodie design!!! (Mates who are reading this, please comment on FB if you like the design!)

Anyway, I realise FB is a very very magical thing. I shall tell you why:

A few days back, a guy added me on FB. I took a look at his photo and couldn't recognise him and decided to take a look at the mutual friends we have.
After seeing the mutual friends we had (all were primary school mates), I accepted his friend request.
Apparently, he was online, so he posted on my wall and asked if I remembered him. Of course, I told him no.

However, he told me that he's from CCKPS (my primary school), Primary 5D (my class). My first reaction: Got this person meh?? So I didn't believe him at first. Until he tag-ed me in a photo of a diary.

Not long after, he scanned in the contents of the diary. Page by page. And he was indeed my classmate!

Can you spot my name??
How can I not be convinced that his my classmate??! There's my writing and address (the censor-ed part)!! He then told me that he left for Canada right at the start of the term. (No wonder I don't have any memory of him)

So what's so magical about FB? He left 7years ago, found this diary after 7years somewhere in his room and gathered all again after some searching and linking in FB with the names in the diary!!!
And of course, all of us found our "long-lost" friend! (Though till now I still don't remember anything about writing in the diary~)
Through his tagging(s), I managed to find back almost 80% of my classmates on FB and added them to my friends list.
Ya, and my Primary 5 form teacher too!!!!! (I'm so excited when I saw her comment and added her straight)

Comments on the class photo are still coming in and I'm seeing more and more classmates I lost contact with :)) I'm so happy to find them all.
However, some really disappeared. I think they don't have a FB acct, that's why.

HOHO. Ended my SP4 final presentation today! No more P.F.D, %conversion, reflux ratio, economic potential, number of trays, distillation columns, partial reboiler/condenser and LATE NIGHTS!!!
(I never sleep early anyway)

On top of that, I had my 2nd F.P.M class test today too :)

Quite a number of things ended/ending these few days. Lectures, tutorials, tests and projects. And that of course marks the "soon-to-start" Semestral Exams! (More studying!!!)
But before that I shall enjoy my CNY. I ♥ CNY~
Bought like 6tops recently. Only 1 is for CNY!! Wearing 'old' bottoms though; not planning to get any new ones.
MUMMY bought me a pair of slippers and spectacles!!! (My degree actually dropped! Always had a feeling it increased alot over the years. That's why I went to check)

Hmm, shall get going.

Republic Polytechnic 1day "tour" by RINAYO :)
(Thank you so~~ much YOYO, come NYP next time! But I think you can complete the tour in like 30mins?? HAHA)

Yups, went to RP today. Not exactly for a 1day "tour"; though that was my main motive.
You see, planned to study @ Woodlands Library. Then after meeting up with RINAYO the day before, I felt like giving RP a visit!! (I never never stepped into RP before and alot of my friends kept saying how nice and great the school is!)
So that's how I landed up in RP, early in the morning, around 9am?

YOYO gave us a short "tour" before leaving for class :)
The very first thing I'm amazed with was their library. Don't need to mention it's like so huge.
You can access the library from basically every direction. North South East West!
The best thing is, they got alot alot alot alot alot alot of tables and chairs for self-studying/group work!! A very conducive place!!!
In the library also, they got games room, help desks (WITH STAFFS ALWAYS THERE) and a cafe with pool tables.

YOYO gave us another "tour" when she got her 2nd break. But before that, we went for lunch @ Food Haven!!!!! You must know:
01) they got more canteens/food courts/cafes
02) one canteen, alot of varieties
03) less crowded even @ 12pm -.-
(Point 3 is really really important)
Talking about food, RP got tons of vending machines. Tons :))

Did some walking again after lunch and I realise they got many many many many many sofas all the school. When I say many many many many many, it's really many many many many many!!
Every corner you know? One turn, one or two long sofas. The another turn, more than 10 round sofas.
Their huge school compound explains the amount of cozy corners they have!!!
After all these "tour-ing" around the school, headed for her classroom!! Nothing special there though. After all it's just a classroom.

Left RP around 4.30pm to meet SIS for movie!! Shall go there again next time.

PS: If RP's teaching system wasn't different, maybe I would had chose it :(
However, they don't have environmental courses, so maybe I wouldn't. HAHA...

Random: Got my nails done @ Far East with RINAYO! (Yes, it's her again. HAHA. Met her up for 2days straight!)

Hello people, I don't know why I'm still here at 2am in the morning. I ought to be sleeping because I'm feeling damn shag now.

Yesterday's EM2A tutorial was a complete disaster. I can't believe I'm taking this module and completing it soon =.= I just hope it ends well.

All I can say is: Determination, please come to me :) Stay with me as long as you can. I will love you, hug you and cherish you like mad. Thank you.

A little bird was flying south for the Winter.
It was so cold the bird froze and fell to the ground into a large field. While he was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on him.
As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, he began to realize how warm he was.
The dung was actually thawing him out!
He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy. A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate.
Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him.

Morals of the story:
(1) Not everyone who shits on you is your enemy.
(2) Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend.
(3) And when you're in deep shit, it's best to keep your mouth shut!

2011 Open House

Woo. I'm back again.
Sometimes when I don't update, I MIA for weeks. But when I want to update, I update like so often :)

Anyway, it's 2011 Open House week for all the Polytechnics!! Which Polytechnic are you visiting?? Is it:
Singapore's first Poly?-- Singapore Polytechnic OR
Most popular Poly among teenagers?-- Ngee Ann Polytechnic OR
Youngest Poly?-- Republic Polytechnic OR
Temasek Polytechnic? Nanyang Polytechnic?? HAHA... I'm like doing an advertisement here.
Oh well. I still remember when I went for Open House, I only went to SP and NP. TP was obviously too far for me; so I didn't even bother.
Whatever it is, I ended up in NYP. My first reaction upon receiving the SMS from MOE early in the morning about 6am?? (Ya, you don't even need to check online)

"WA, SIAN"

You see, I didn't really pay much attention to NYP during my years in secondary school. All of my friends/relatives/parents talk about SP and NP. RP was even more popular than NYP at my time!!
But ya, my aunt told me which Polytechnic doesn't matter as long as you are in a course that you like and enjoy. And of course, something that has a future. (That's reality)
So yups, I chose all possible Chemical and Life sciences courses for my 12choices!!! So no matter which Polytechnic I end up in, I will be studying something I like :)
And this is exactly what I'm telling my dear SERENEGOH now. Still, I hope she gets into SP! HAHA... ...
Anyway, saw my friend's tweet. O level results will be out on 10 Jan, Monday @ 2pm!!! Clash with my HMT lab; if not I'm going back to see SIS's reaction~~

Hmm, so why did I end up with Open House?
Cause I'm joining this year's Open House~ HAHA... ... Got a short briefing today from various lecturers. Got my Open House teeshirt; which is like so so big. And they claim it's S size. ZzzzzZ
But this year's teeshirt looks soooooo~~~ much better than last year's!!!

I'm looking forward to Friday's duty as the whole Q3 will be G1(s)!! Cool rights. At more it's night duty :))

Spent my wonderful 1st second of 2011 with my dearest usual mates. I didn't knew counting down can be such a fun event until that day :)

EUO in the morning. Good news was our product didn't leak! Bad news is our spray isn't spraying well. Hope AJ figures out something!!
Left for YONGHAN's house after that with Charlton, FH, YX, YS and of course YH. They had a short swimming session while I played FB games. (Actually, to be exact, they didn't swim)
It started raining so we went up to his house to slack before heading for steamboat @ Bugis with the rest! (Elaine, KM, Jaslyn and TC)

WY joined us @ the MRT after our steamboat session.
Headed for YH house. And waited for the countdown :) Watched Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire while some of played Monopoly. Singapore edition again~~
Countdown behind YH house along the Kallang River (I supposed it's the Kallang River??) Beautiful fireworks!! Cam-whored. Took videos of our resolutions.

Headed back. And I think we did nothing much except some drinking. Card games, TV and Maplestory too I guess? Yups, that's how exactly we spent our night before some of them got hungry and we went to Macdonalds which wasn't very near.
Got back to YH house again around 4am and we slept!!! For 3hours+ (for me) Woke up, wash up, breakfast, TV and FB before leaving his house.

And that summarises my countdown for 2011 with my mates. It shall be the most memorable day of my life!

National Education unguided field trip with mates! (By right, it should be guided)
Initial plan was National Museum --> Peranakan Museum --> National Archives --> Fort canning and then end with a trip to Marina Barrage.
However, at last, we only went to National Museum to Peranakan Museum and then Fort Canning Park's Battle box!! (I wanted to go this Battle Box for like how many donkey years; and I FINALLY went that day!!!)
Quite disappointed in the end though. Nothing much inside. I think I should visit Sentosa's Fort Siloso Tours someday~
Anyway, went to Helix bridge and MBS after that! (Though there's only a few of us)
那里，什么都好; 天气好，风景好，心情也跟着好~ HAHA... ... However we got to leave early since there's school next day.

Shopping @ Orchard with SIS &MUM! Bought a top @ New Look. S$40. And the shop actually says 'up to 70% discount'. ZzZzz
Basically, we walked almost the whole Orchard. Far East Plaza to ION to Ngee Ann City to 313 to Centrepoint to Orchard Point to Orchard central. Went up to Orchard Central's rooftop before heading home!

Oh! This my 12am post!! Right on Christmas! On the dot :)
I'm sure many many many are still awake out there. Counting down or just waiting to send out SMS to your friends or loved ones right??!
But my advice is, don't send on the dot at 12am. Some of your lines might not be able to take it and all your msgs will end up stucked in Outbox!
And eventually, you miss the time. So conclusion is, send it out around 11.59pm. Just nice (Especially for mass SMS)

Anyway, my Christmas had never been different. I'm home all day throughout Christmas Eve!! Except in the morning, sent SIS to work. (If you've been stalking my tweets, you would know!)
Suntec City in the morning. Peaceful. Very very peaceful. And I realise most of the shops open later, comparing to neighbourhood shopping malls.
SIS brought me somewhere (her slacking area) with the morning Sun shining brightly. Totally awesome :)

Eventually, she went to work and I'm all alone @ Suntec City! Took a walk here and there and since most of the shops were not opened yet, I walked to the Xchange!
It's really long, links you from Suntec City to Raffles City Shopping Centre!! Long walk but the shops along the Xchange looks yummy! (Most of them sell food, snacks and drinks)
Got abit sleepy and decided to head home :) But when I got home, I'm like infront of my laptop, till now. HOHO...

Ya, and these few days, DAD had been working on his fish tank! He put everything inside. From bricks to pebbles; except FISHES!! (So currently it's a big fish tank, without fish!)
He wanted to do like a landscape inside the tank. And after hours of hard work:

Beautiful? He did the whole thing himself! We only did the cleaning up after he's done with his masterpiece -.-

I know I shouldn't be here at this hour, this minute and this second. HAHA (craps)

Well, basically, I'm still awake because:
(01) I'm not sleepy.
(02) I'm chatting with a 'long-time-no-see' friend who claims want to study with me when he doesn't know what Fluid and Particle Mechanics is -.-
(03) I didn't study much. I was like out from afternoon till 9pm yesterday.

Yea, I did went to school in the morning. After that, met up with MUMMY and SIS @ Serangoon Nex (again, I know). I don't know how, but we stayed there till 7pm!
Since my SIS was desperate for a wallet (and she can't find any @ Nex), we went to Bishan and Lot1 (where she eventually got her wallet).
It's like almost 9pm before I finally reached home. Procrastinated for about an hour before settling down infront of my desk with my FPM tutorials :)

I think I'm so dead for FPM paper later on, don't you think so?? HAHA... ...

However... ... ...

SIS bought me this really cool sports shoe from Skechers! (I don't know which part is cool, since I don't spent on sports shoes. I said it as it's from my SIS ♥!! Aren't I sweet??)
Whatever it is, in the end, I bought her a wallet. Exactly the same one as mine. HAHA... So currently we got the same shoe and wallet.

Sometimes, I'm really glad to have a SIS :)

(02) Exchange presents (BRO never ever buy me a present before, as for SIS and I, we buy each other gifts whenever we see it's suitable for one another)
(03) Less lonely
(04) When I was young, I'm like afraid of the dark; and I'm always wondering why BRO can sleep alone -.-
But I got my SIS with me. Makes me feel ease.
(05) Someone to seek advice other than MUMMY! Like when I buy bags/shoes/clothings I will like, keep asking SIS for opinion! Though sometimes our taste really defers. HAHA

Hello people, I know I'm gone for sometime. Miss me??
(I know you do, HAHA. JKIDDING)

Ever since the start of Semester 4, every single day just pass by really fast. Class tests for non-examinable modules were cleared this week. (*happiness*)
However, more are to come next week. I'm having 3Common test papers; Tues, Thurs and Fri. Then I'm like, finally, going to be free for 2weeks before the 2nd half of the semester starts.

Lots to be done during the 2weeks break. Tons. And I'm getting excited just at the thought of it.
LAU's birthday, N.E unguided field trip (basically means that we go on field trips ourselves instead of having lecturers to bring us), meeting up with those "long-time-no-see" friends and 4-7 class gathering!! ♥
Best part is, I might be doing my New Year shopping during the break since CNY next year is arriving earlier than usual!!!

Oh well, having to say all these, I still got 1week to go. 加油 everyone!
